About Bury Physical Therapy Centre

Amanda completed a four-year course and gained a Diploma in Osteopathy from The British School of Osteopathy in London. She later joined the General Council and Register of Osteopaths, which later became the General Osteopathic Council until 2011. Although she is no longer a member of the register of Osteopaths, Amanda is still a Manipulative Therapist with a wealth of experience in the field.

Her extensive knowledge of various sports, coupled with her personal experience as a keen golfer and former badminton and tennis player, makes her the perfect choice for treating sports injuries. Amanda's son played Rugby to county level and was a keen footballer, while her daughter was a good junior netballer, so she has a good, wide knowledge of many sports and why particular injuries may occur.

At Bury Physical Centre, Amanda treats a wide range of patients from different backgrounds. From manual workers who need to stay fit to people with desk jobs who develop chronic pains due to lack of movement, she has helped them all. Her patients also include students who spend too much time on their laptops, nurses and carers who have to lift patients, HGV and delivery drivers who are in their vehicles all day, even teachers who have to be on their feet all day.

Amanda believes that the sooner the problem is diagnosed and treated, the sooner one can get better. That's why she's dedicated to offering rapid access to suitable treatment for all her patients. Her treatments are tailored to each patient's specific needs, and she uses a combination of manipulation, mobilization, and massage to get them back on their feet as quickly as possible.
