Here are some of the most common types of elbow pain that we treat:

1

Tennis elbow

Tennis elbow is a type of overuse injury that occurs when the tendons in the elbow become inflamed. Physical therapists work to reduce pain and inflammation, improve strength and flexibility, and help patients modify their activities to avoid further injury.

2

Golfer's elbow

Golfer's elbow is similar to tennis elbow but affects the tendons on the inside of the elbow instead of the outside. Physical therapists work to reduce pain and inflammation, improve strength and flexibility, and help patients modify their activities to avoid further injury.

3

Elbow dislocation

An elbow dislocation occurs when the bones in the elbow joint become separated. Physical therapists work with patients after a dislocation to reduce pain and inflammation, improve range of motion, and promote healthy movement patterns.

4

Cubital tunnel syndrome

Cubital tunnel syndrome is a condition in which the ulnar nerve in the elbow becomes compressed, causing pain and numbness in the hand and fingers. Physical therapists work to reduce pain and inflammation, improve strength and flexibility, and promote healthy nerve function.

5

Radial head fracture

A radial head fracture occurs when the top of the radius bone in the forearm breaks near the elbow joint. Physical therapists work with patients after a fracture to reduce pain and inflammation, improve range of motion, and promote healthy movement patterns.

These are just a few examples of the types of elbow pain that our physical therapists treat.

No matter what type of elbow pain you are experiencing, our physical therapist can work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that will help you reduce your pain, improve your mobility, and prevent future injury.
